Bead picots are a beautiful way to give you work a neat border.
I was therefore glad to find this tutorial on how to make bead picots.
On the photo you see a freeform bead embroidered pin I made; I worked the bead picots all around the pin.
I also made once a little book (given away without taking a photo ;-(), where I used the bead picots to border the paper pages - it look great, too.
Next time I’ll make an Artist Book, I will use bead picots on the paper, as well as on the next crochet purse I will make (but no one knows when this will be ;-)), perhaps even the next greeting card I’ll create and who knows what ideas I’ll get by then ;-)
Perlen-Picots sind eine schöne Art, um seinem Stück einen sauberen Rand zu geben.
Ich war also froh, als ich diese Anleitung für Perlen-Picots fand.
Auf dem Foto sieht man eine Brosche in Freeform Perlenstickerei, die ich gemacht habe; ich habe sie mit Perlen-Picots umrandet.
Ich habe auch einmal ein kleines Buch gemacht (ohne ein Foto zu machen, weggegeben ;-(), bei dem ich die Perlen-Picots verwendet habe, um die Papierseiten zu umranden - es sah auch toll aus.
Nächstes Mal, wenn ich ein Künstler-Buch mache, werde ich Perlen-Picots auf Papier verwenden, genauso wie bei dem nächsten Häkeltäschchen (aber niemand weiss, wann das sein wird ;-)), vielleicht sogar bei der nächsten Grusskarte, die ich herstellen werde und wer weiss, was für Ideen mir bis dahin noch kommen werden ;-)
